Guitar Tutor Pro Review:

Great Quality E-books
Nice Bonus Software
No Video or Audio Files

We would like to thank the people at Guitar Tutor Pro for allowing us to download a copy for the purpose of this review.

You can tell that Ryan Cameron has put a lot of effort and enthusiasm in the Guitar Tutor Pro Guitar Lesson Course. We would recommend that a student start with the Guide to Tuning and Stringing and the Guide to Reading Music Notation before starting the other lessons included. It's also much easier to print out all of the e-books before you get started. It seems easier to work with the audio files if you have already printed out the Ebooks.

You can find everything you would expect to find in a good book on learning guitar. The bonus here is that for about the same price as a good book you also get lot's of bonus software and audio files.

We think that Guitar Tutor Pro is a good value for the price. The fact that there are no video files included does bother us a bit. Learning guitar is pretty tricky at first and video lessons and examples can be very helpful for a beginner trying to learn the basics.

1. The Guitarists Guide to Reading Music Notation
2. The Guitarists Guide to Tuning and Stringing

Guitar Chords Pro - The Ultimate Guitar Chord Simulator
This software program is designed to enable guitarists of all levels to learn chord shapes from a large list of possibilities. The program also gives guitar students the tools needed to create their own chord shapes, by way of a fretboard diagram. We really like this software!

Guitar Tutor Pro Review:

I bought Guitar Tutor Pro last year. I am looking for a more extensive course and that's how I came across this site. I thought Guitar Tutor Pro was a great course for getting started with the guitar. I have to admit up to now it is the only course I have tried. Before that I was just reading tabs and I knew 3 or 4 chords. I thought for the price I paid it was worth downloading. I am now taking lessons from a friend of mine and he was quite impressed when I first started working with him that I knew as much as I did already. I guess I have Guitar Tutor Pro to thank for that. I wouldn't recommend it to advanced players or people just looking to learn to read & write music for guitar.

Guitar Tutor Pro Review:

I didn't really like this course. The website did a good job of making it sound exciting but I didn't think it lived up to the hype I read before I bought it. There are a few good things the course offers but mostly only if you are a complete beginner. So I guess if you have never taken any type of guitar lessons it wouldn't be a bad course but it wasn't what I expected really.

Guitar Tutor Pro Review:

I downloaded Guitar Tutor Pro and it's not bad. I think for the price they could have included some video lessons. I like the software that comes with the download. The chord simulator software is really cool. My only complaint is that some of the pages are a little fuzzy looking when printed.

Guitar Tutor Pro Review:

Although in retrospect I wish I would have known about some of the other guitar lesson downloads available. I liked the Guitar Tutor Pro download and it's a good value for the money but I have since read about other programs that seem to offer a little more for about the same price. Guitar Tutor Pro does offer quite a bit of information and the software that comes with the download is very cool. If it wasn't so inexpensive I would have been disappointed but for the price it's not a bad deal.
