Amazing Guitar Secrets Review:
"Amazing Guitar Secrets" is a guitar course produced by Dan Denley, an accomplished and professionally trained musician based in Memphis, Tennessee. The course is designed for guitarists of all skill levels and is packed with quality content. First off its important to stress that this isn't a digital course and will need to be shipped to your address, therefore there are additional shipping fees to be aware of. The good news is these aren't that expensive considering the amount of materials offered. The course also comes into two types which I will summarize below.

It does seem that due to the emphasis on scales that this particular course has more to offer the electric guitar player but there is also a large amount of instruction for rhythm and acoustic players with barre chords, open position chords, advanced chord techniques and strumming techniques all covered in some detail.
Course materials
The overall course materials are impressive and more than many other courses provide. The 400 pages of printed material, will keep you occupied for at least 12 months. The written material is segmented into 10 course books, all professionally bound into one manual, which makes it easy to locate and less likely for the books to be misplaced.
The course covers topics that every aspiring guitarist should know, explaining in detail the "why" behind the "what." Included, among other themes, are:
- Strength and agility exercises
- Ready-to-play chord progressions based on CAGED chords
- Guitar theory
- Quick and easy ways to play rhythms
- Major and Minor scales
- Soloing with the Major, Minor, and Blues pentatonic scales
- Advanced chord progressions

Although there are a couple of errors in the book, it doesn't impact on your learning and no course is 100% error free anyway. Dan also makes a couple of minor mistakes in the video. But the fact that these are kept in adds to the natural feel of the instruction. It's clear that he's more interested in teaching rather than being a show-off.
You get a 12-step guide, which allows for concise direction about how to move through the course. Also included is a "Progress Tracker" or written record of what you have accomplished along the way. Both add a sense of structure to the course which is important considering the depth of materials.
You'll have access to dedicated support staff who handle customer issues, and you're not simply "left behind" after making a purchase. It's always nice to be able to call the support number and actually be able to talk to someone!
Conclusion
We were really impressed with the course and would urge this for any player who is serious about taking his playing to an advanced level. Be warned, you'll need to be dedicated and put in the hours for both practise and theory study. But having said that you will be richly rewarded as a result and will be wowing friends and family in no time!
